Counseling Center for recognition of foreign qualifications in Tyrol and Vorarlberg

Since spring 2013 the Center for Migrants in Tirol (ZeMiT) offers individual, multilingual and free of charge counseling in matters of acknowledgement to people with qualifications acquired abroad.

Aim:

Information, professional counseling and if necessary accompaniment in the whole recognition and assessment process in order to enable an adequate integration in the labour market according to the qualifications.

Target group:

Holders of qualifications applied in foreign countries who require recognition or vocational assessment of their education. As well as for citizens of third countries, European Economic Area and refugees who are entitled to asylum or to subsidiary protection.

Assignment:

• Multilingual counseling in matter of recognition
• Clarification if a formal recognition is necessary/ possible
• Organizing accredited translations of diploma/ certificates
• Forwarding diploma/ certificates to assessment offices
• If necessary accompaniment during the whole recognition process
• Information about the possibility of further education and counseling
